January 29, 2011 (Orlando, Florida): The 2011 PGA Merchandise had its annual show in Orlando, Florida. The atmosphere was more upbeat compared to last year's show paralleling signs of economic recovery in the golf industry. Some of the highlights came in the Bridgestone booth with a public display of the 2010 U.S. Open Women's Trophy won by LPGA star Ms. Paula Creamer to claim her first major victory. Similarly, beside this at the same booth was the Vardon Trophy for the lowest scoring average in 2010 won by Mr. Matt Kuchar, a member of the PGA tour. Also, the first place winner of the Inventor's Spotlight for the 2011 PGA Merchandise show was won by BandZorb, LLC and CEO Terry Zebouni (pictured in this article with her son, Matt) based in Jacksonville, Florida. Portable and reusable microbe-absorbing headbands attached conveniently in the inner lining of the golf and/or baseball cap preserving cap integrity and also hygeine. The 2011 Show had more attendance than last year, clearly indicating slow recovery from last year. TaylorMade had its own hallway, bar and food service counter that was not present in last year's show translating to a positive trend in golf industry recovery.
